FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
The Developing Minds Lab is located just off the main campus of the University of Kentucky. The lab is a family-friendly, climate-controlled space that can accommodate research participants of all ages. Among the lab's features include a comfortable waiting area for families and children, a dedicated testing room for behavioral and EEG/ERP testing, an experimenter room for research staff, and a private bathroom. Ample free parking is available on site.
The Developing Minds Lab is equipped with a 32 channel BioSemi ActiveTwo EEG/ERP acquisition system. The system uses state-of-the-art active electrode technology, minimizing electrical noise and increasing participant comfort. The lab is also equipped with two Dell OptiPlex 5080 desktop PCs for data entry, processing, and analysis.
